On Keeping Cancer at Bay

We are a nation obsessed with cancer, its symptoms and the long-term impact it will have on our health. When people talk to one another in a casual social setting, this topic always comes to the center of conversation. How many of the friends and relatives suffering from cancer? How many of them have passed away? What type of treatment are the getting? How much of the cost will the insurance cover? It is almost as if the talk of cancer is something normal to have in a gathering. People seem to take a perverse pleasure in discussing how bad the cancer can be on the sufferer’s health and life in general.

This is unacceptable! Where did they learn that cancer is something that cannot be avoided? How did they come to a conclusion that when it is cancer, the person is bound to lose health and life? In contradiction to this part of the world, there are people who have survived well above hundred and ten years without having to worry about any ailment including cancer. Their lifestyle is a testament to the concept that health is a normal part of being. In that society, there is no childhood physical or mental illnesses, no pains and aches due to old age and above all, no cancer. Compare it to the ultra-modern way of life that we are living right now, and you will realize that it is possible to enjoy health and life through proper diet, exercise, serenity and environment.

The best way to keep cancer at bay is to promote our own health, say the professionals at a nanoknife cancer surgery center. We cannot protect our health, family or other things dear to us if we are constantly waging war against symptoms of illnesses. If you are taking pills and medications on a daily basis in order to survive, there is something seriously wrong with the way your body is functioning. If you are allergic to certain food from a young age and experience instant reaction that is considered fatal, you were not brought up in the right environment. If a sudden onset of fever is causing other symptoms that require an immediate emergency room visit, you are living the wrong lifestyle.

In essence, medicines, drugs and surgeries are not a “good fix” for our health. They are merely meant to mask the symptoms temporarily. They cannot cure but make you feel better for a few hours. Only the body can heal. The same body can also prevent illnesses from invading the system in the first place. This fact holds good to debilitating illnesses like cancer as well. When you are at high risk of getting cancer, the body will do everything it can to continue to function normally. It can recognize cells that aren’t right and get rid of them. The precondition is that it should be given an opportunity. Not through popping pills and binging on junk food but through balanced diet, activities and lifestyle changes.
